About Big Valley Jamboree

Big Valley Jamboree is a country music festival held each summer at the Camrose Regional Exhibition grounds in Camrose, Alberta. In 2019 Country Thunder Music Festivals entered a partnership with the Camrose Regional Exhibition to run the event. The weekend centres on the Main Stage in a large concert bowl, with nightly after-parties in the saloons, a songwriters showcase, a marketplace tradeshow and side events such as Bulls for Breakfast, Cowboy Church, a karaoke contest and a hypnotist show.

The 2027 festival runs Thursday, July 29 to Sunday, August 1, with the Thursday Night Kickoff Party followed by three days of Main Stage concerts. The 2026 edition ran July 30 to August 2. The 2027 lineup has not been announced.

Tickets for 2027 are already on sale through Front Gate Tickets, the festival's official seller. A 3-day general admission pass is listed at $315 before fees, which comes to about $349 with fees and tax. It covers the Friday to Sunday concert days, the concert bowl with lawn-style seating, Main Street, the tradeshow and access to the campgrounds. The Kickoff Party is a separate 18+ ticket. Premium options include reserved seating, a front-of-stage standing pit and VIP seats with a private tent, meals and luxury restrooms. Kids 10 and under get in free in general admission areas with an adult ticket. Wristbands are RFID and mailed in advance, and all sales are final.

Camping is a big part of the weekend. All campsites are primitive with no hookups and need a full weekend pass; you can't buy camping for a single night. Several campgrounds have different quiet times, and accessible camping can be booked by phone at 1-888-404-1234. Showers, portable toilets and non-potable water stations are spread through the campgrounds, and camping renewals let you keep your site the next year. Campers can arrive from 9 am on the Wednesday. Open flames, glass and upholstered household furniture are not allowed, and generators can run only between 7 am and midnight.

If you are not camping, day and weekend parking can be bought ahead, and a shuttle runs around Camrose between the Encana Arena and Duggan Mall. The show goes ahead rain or shine. Customer service is at bvj@bigvalleyjamboree.com or 1-888-404-1234, with a text line during the festival.
