About Country Fest Queensland

Country Fest Queensland is a two-day country music festival held at Cluden Park, the Townsville Turf Club racecourse in the suburb of Cluden in Townsville, North Queensland. It is a family-friendly, all-ages event, and children aged 0 to 9 get in free.

The next edition is confirmed for Friday 16 and Saturday 17 April 2027, with gates listed from 4pm on the ticketing site. The 2027 event moves to April after the 2026 festival ran in June. Tickets went on sale through a registered presale, and the festival says the 2027 artist line-up will be announced in September.

The 2026 festival took place at Cluden Park on 12 and 13 June 2026, presented by Great Northern Brewing Co. and supported by Townsville City Council through Townsville Enterprise. Morgan Evans headlined, with Golden Guitar winners James Johnston, Max Jackson, The Wolfe Brothers and Zac & George also on the bill, alongside local performers. The program also included market stalls and kids' rides.

Tickets are sold as general admission or VIP, through the festival's Oztix-powered outlet. Prices are tiered, so each price level moves to the next once its allocation sells out. At the time of research the adult two-day general admission ticket was $197.65, the youth ticket for ages 10 to 17 was $75.25, and under-10s needed a free ticket. Two-day and single-day VIP tickets, which include a separate entry lane, shade, a private bar and private toilets, had sold out. Adults must show valid ID at the gate, and wristbands are non-transferable once scanned.

There is no camping on the festival grounds. The festival points campers to Discovery Parks Townsville and BIG4 Townsville Gateway Holiday Park nearby, and runs a free loop shuttle bus between the parks and the festival on both days.

Companion Card holders can get a companion ticket by contacting the Oztix customer experience team before buying, with the order in the cardholder's name. Patrons with other accessibility requirements are asked to contact the festival before purchasing.
