About Parklife
Parklife is a two-day music festival in Manchester that focuses on dance and electronic music, alongside pop and hip-hop artists. It is organised by several groups, including Manchester's The Warehouse Project and Live Nation. It began as the Mad Ferret Festival in Platt Fields Park in Rusholme and moved to Heaton Park in north Manchester in 2013 to make room for bigger crowds. By 2023 the non-camping festival had a capacity of 82,500 over its two days. In June 2024, Greater Manchester Police arrested 52 people for drug-related and violent offences in and around the festival.
The festival has usually been held in June. The 2026 edition ran on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June, with Calvin Harris, Sammy Virji, Skepta and Zara Larsson among the headliners.
Parklife 2027 moves to July, on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July at Heaton Park. Early bird weekend tickets are on sale with payment plans of up to 11 instalments. General admission requires a £25 deposit followed by nine monthly payments of under £16. VIP is a £30 deposit plus ten monthly payments of under £20, with VIP perks to be confirmed. Backstage is a £45 deposit plus ten monthly payments of under £35, with an exclusive viewing area at The Valley stage, cocktail and wine bars, a backstage bar and fast-track entry. General admission covers the main site, including all stages, food stalls, fairground rides, bars and secret venues. No acts had been announced as of October 2026.
Big Green Coach is the official travel partner, running day-return coaches from 22 UK pick-up points from £45, with a £1 deposit. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Skiddle and other agents, and e-tickets are issued one to two weeks before the event.
Everyone attending must be 17 or over. Seventeen-year-olds must be with a responsible adult, and each adult can bring up to four under-18s. There is no camping, so festivalgoers travel in each day.
