About Nannup Music Festival

The Nannup Music Festival is a four-day music festival held each year over the WA Labour Day long weekend in Nannup, a small town in Western Australia's South West. It has been presented by The Nannup Music Club Inc since 1990. The program features original live acts, with a focus on new, emerging and Indigenous music. There are performances across ten free and ticketed stages, plus workshops, talks, poetry, kids' activities, food and artisan markets. The organisers say the festival draws 5,000 ticket holders and more than 3,000 visitors each day, supported by over 500 volunteers. Nannup sits on Noongar Boodja, on the lands of the Bibbulmun people, with Wadandi country north of the Blackwood River.

The festival has won Best Live Event in the WA category at the National Live Music Awards in 2018 and 2023, as well as a State Cultural Treasures Award for community impact in 2022. It also runs the Nannup Emerging Artists Award and programs for remote Aboriginal artists.

The 38th festival runs from 26 February to 1 March 2027. Tickets, sold through TryBooking, go on sale at 8am on 1 November 2026, and the lineup is released the same day. First release adult weekend tickets are $265, with second release at $290, and adding camping brings those to $335 and $365. Youth weekend tickets for ages 13 to 17 are $170 and $190, children aged 0 to 12 enter free, and day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are $150. There are no concession tickets and tickets are non-refundable, but much of the program is free for non-ticket holders.

The Festival Campground is on the Nannup Golf Course, run with the Nannup Golf Club, and opens from 9am Friday. Sites are unpowered and unmarked, and campers have portable toilets and showers and free drinking water. A Cruisy Bus shuttle runs between the campground and the festival ticket office for a gold coin donation. Glamping packages have also been offered through Nomadika and Nannup District High School.

A first aid post in the Amphitheatre is staffed throughout the festival, and there are water refill stations and a device recharge station at the Ticket Office for a gold coin donation. For access, the festival lists accessible toilets around the site and campground, ACROD parking bays, WA Companion Card tickets and seating at all venues. Assistance animals are allowed, but pets are not.

The 2026 festival, the 37th, ran from 27 February to 2 March 2026. It featured more than 100 performances across eight stages, with artists including Steve Poltz, Emily Lubitz, Elephant Sessions, Eleanor Jawurlngali Dixon and A.C Saunders. The main venue was the Nannup Amphitheatre at Nannup Foreshore Park.
