About Corona Capital
Corona Capital is an indie, alternative and rock festival held each autumn in Mexico City. It is produced by OCESA and named after its beer sponsor, and it takes place in the Curva 4 area of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the motor racing circuit in the east of the city. The festival started in 2010 as a one-day event held in October. It became a two-day festival in 2012, moved to November from 2015, and has run over three days since 2022.
The 2025 edition, its 15th, was announced in June 2025 and took place in mid-November, with Foo Fighters headlining the opening Friday and Linkin Park and Deftones among the acts that closed the festival.
The 2026 edition runs from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November. Unlike some previous years, it does not coincide with the Revolution Day holiday weekend. Gorillaz headline Friday, with Mumford & Sons, Daniel Caesar, James Blake, The Kooks and CHVRCHES. Twenty One Pilots headline Saturday, with The Offspring, Pierce the Veil, Underworld, Mother Mother and Peaches. The Strokes close the festival on Sunday, returning to Mexico for the first time since 2022, with The xx, Lola Young, Lil Yachty and Johnny Marr. The Black Crowes and Purity Ring are also on the bill.
Tickets are sold in phases through the festival's website, with presales for Banamex customers. By October 2026, phase 2 general admission three-day passes cost MXN 4,760 after phase 1 passes at MXN 4,090 sold out. Single-day general admission tickets cost MXN 2,600 for Friday and Sunday, and MXN 3,500 for Saturday in phase 3, plus service charges. Premium Comfort Pass, Banamex Plus and Club Pass options are also sold, along with Cavannas packages.
The festival recommends that attendees be 16 or older, and buying alcohol requires ID showing an age of 18 or over. People who are drunk or under the influence of drugs will be refused entry. For disabled visitors, there is parking near the general entrance, along with ramps, toilets and other facilities for wheelchair users and their companions, and all public toilet areas and concession stands are accessible. The ground is a mix of concrete, grass and gravel, mostly flat with some slopes between stages. There is no camping.
