About Dreamstate Australia
Dreamstate is a trance festival brand presented by the US promoter Insomniac. Its Australian edition is presented with the local promoters Symbiotic and Hardware and runs as two single-day shows on consecutive days in Sydney and Melbourne.
The 2027 edition is confirmed for Saturday 6 February 2027 at Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park and Sunday 7 February 2027 at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne. Symbiotic's event page lists both dates with remaining tickets on sale through Eventflo.
Tiësto was the first act announced for 2027 and plays a trance set. The final lineup also includes Ferry Corsten, Infected Mushroom, Reinier Zonneveld, Lilly Palmer, Indira Paganotto presenting Artcore, Marie Vaunt, MaRLo, Factor B, Alt1, BIIA, Billy Gillies, Dimatik, Natte Visstick, Nicolas Julian, Nikolina, Onlynumbers, Prada2000, VisionV and Xijaro & Pitch. The Belgian duo Xijaro & Pitch are billed for what has been announced as their final Australian show. The 2027 bill spans trance, techno, hard techno and other harder styles.
The Australian edition has run at the same pair of venues before. The 2026 shows took place on 7 February at Sydney Showground and 8 February at Flemington, with presale tickets for that year starting at $149.95 plus fees. ozEDM reported that an earlier Australian edition, in 2024, sold out.
For 2027, a general admission ticket for the Sydney show appeared on Eventflo at $189.95, and VIP options were also listed. Prices for the Melbourne show could not be confirmed during research, and earlier lower-priced releases are understood to have sold out.
Both shows are strictly 18+. Sydney Showground's event page notes that the venue is cashless, that pass-outs are not permitted, and that the show includes pyrotechnics. There is no camping, as each show is a single-day event at a city venue. Sydney and Melbourne are ticketed separately on Eventflo, so visitors planning to attend both nights need a ticket for each city.
