About Scarborough Beach Weekender

Scarborough Beach Weekender is a two-day live music festival at the Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre on The Esplanade in Scarborough, Perth, on Whadjuk Noongar land. It is presented by Palace J Entertainment. The festival debuted on 11 and 12 April 2026, which the organisers say was the first large-scale live music event at the beachfront venue in more than a decade.

The second edition runs on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026. Saturday runs from 3pm to 10pm, is 18+, and is headlined by Six60, with The Black Seeds, Christine Anu and Drea also on the bill. Sunday runs from 2pm to 9pm, is all ages, and is headed by Ziggy Alberts, with Sons of the East, Gretta Ray and Ningaloo Records. More acts are still to be announced for both days. The site has grass terraces, amphitheatre seating, a sandy dance floor and food and bar areas.

Tickets are sold through Oztix. Single-day general admission tickets have been released in tiers at $119, $139, $149 and $159 plus a booking fee, and a weekend GA pass is $219 plus fee. The Sunset Lounge VIP is 18+ only and costs $239 for one day or $429 for the weekend. It includes a tiered viewing area, a private bar, priority entry and food from The Peach Pit. On Sunday, youth tickets for ages 5 to 17 are available, children under five enter free, and there is a family bundle for two adults and two youths. Everyone under 18 must be with a parent or legal guardian, and there is a limit of two minors per guardian. The festival has a no-refund and no pass-out policy.

The event is cashless. Food vendors offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and outside food and drink are not allowed. Free water is available at all bars, and qualified first aid staff are on site. Attendees can bring low-back chairs and picnic rugs, but prams are not allowed on Sunday.

On access, the festival provides an accessible entry lane with a ramp down to the amphitheatre and accessible viewing areas on the top tier with seating for companions. There are accessible toilets in the general and VIP areas, and Auslan interpreters on stage both days. A Chill & Change space offers a quieter break area with an accessible toilet and changing room, and a Changing Places facility is nearby at Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club. Companion Cards are honoured, but there is no designated accessible parking.
