About Universo Paralello
Universo Paralello is an electronic music and arts festival held over the New Year period on Praia de Pratigi, a beach in the rural area of Ituberá on the Costa do Dendê in southern Bahia. The site lies about 28 km from the town centre of Ituberá, and visitors camp on site for the full week.

Tickets for the 19th edition went on sale on 17 September at 10:10am Brasília time. The first lot cost R$1,250, the same price as for the previous edition, in limited numbers, with later lots priced higher. Tickets are digital and in the buyer's name, sold through the Ingresse platform and accredited agents, with instalment options and a limit per CPF (Brazilian tax number) in the first lot. Standard camping is included in the ticket. Travel packages from Salvador with transfers to Pratigi are offered by agencies.
Pratigi is reached by road from Salvador, and the trip takes several hours, so many visitors book the transfer packages. Local accommodation and parking services operate around the festival, and the local community has raised concerns about charges and road access in recent years.
