About Wildlands Festival
Wildlands is a one-day, 18+ dance music festival run by Untitled Group over the New Year period, with separate events in Brisbane and Perth. The festival describes itself as Australia's premier New Year's dance music festival.
The 2026-27 edition starts with New Year's Eve, Thursday 31 December 2026, at Brisbane Showgrounds, then moves to Arena Joondalup in Perth on Saturday 2 January 2027. Both cities share most of the lineup, topped by John Summit, Skepta, KI/KI and Disco Lines, plus an Australian exclusive from drum and bass act WORSHIP. Overmono, Nia Archives, Hannah Laing, Ewan McVicar, Funk Tribu, Frost Children, Layton Giordani and Saint Ludo also play both shows. Anetha goes back to back with SPFDJ and Benwal with Kyle Starkey. MYASWRLD and nikitasilly appear in Brisbane only, and Groove Junction and KT in Perth only.
The site is split into four stages. Sahara is the main stage for the biggest international sets. Summit covers house, techno and live electronic acts. The Wilds is an in-the-round stage with no barriers, and The Portal is run by local DJs and promoters to showcase the Australian scene.
Tickets are sold through DICE, with a strict name-on-ticket policy and Tixel as the official resale platform. Third-release general admission costs $214.99 and fourth release $234.99, plus booking fees, after the first two releases sold out. Optional add-ons include a Fast Pass for express entry lanes and a Casamigos House of Friends VIP pass, both bought alongside a GA ticket. Afterpay is available.
Entry is strictly 18+ with valid photo ID, and under-18s will not be admitted even with a guardian. Bags larger than A4 are not allowed, and glass is banned. Water stations operate around the site, and food vendors cater for a range of dietary needs. In Brisbane, organisers recommend public transport, with rideshare drop-off at Bowen Bridge Road and Gregory Terrace.
The previous edition was held on New Year's Day 2026 in Brisbane and on 3 January 2026 in Perth, headlined by Dom Dolla, Addison Rae and Kid Cudi.
